Mrs. Charles Steffen, a pioneer of Fort Calhoun, passed away at her home in Omaha November 7 at the age of 73 years. Funeral services are held in Omaha Saturday morning, and burial was made in the Fort Calhoun cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Charles T., one son, Charles, a daughter, Mrs. Jennie Messick, and four grandchildren.
