Death Of Mrs. French

Word has been received by friends in Blair of the death of Mrs. H. M. French at her home in Kadoka, South Dakota. Mrs. French had been out in the yard and returning to the house, fell upon the porch and expired.

Mrs. French was formerly Miss Pearl Trimble and was born in Blair, May 13, 1884, and was married to Mr. French Jan. 1, 1901. Besides her husband, she leaves three small children, the youngest three months old, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Trimble. The sympathy of Blair friends will go out to these bereaved ones in their time of sorrow.

Mr. and Mrs. Lou Latta, of this city went to Kadoka to attend the funeral.

The following was an article from the Pilot 4 Dec 1912:

Mr. and Mrs. Lou Latta went up to Kadoka, S. D., last Tuesday to attend the funeral of Mrs. Latta’s niece, Mrs. H. M. French, who fell dead the day before of heart failure. The funeral was held on Thursday and they returned Monday. Her maiden name was Pearl Trimble and she was born and raised in this city. She finished the 8th grade here and completed the high school in Tekamah. She was married to Mr. French Jan. 1st, 1901. Besides her husband she leaves three small children. She was a daughter of Mrs. Latta’s oldest sister, formerly Miss Stella Gocheneur.
