Word was received in Blair this week of the death last Sunday morning of Mrs. C. C. Bassett of Deming, New Mexico. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Deming. Mr. Bassett is a former resident of Blair, having lived on a farm west of town for many years before going to New Mexico. He has a host of friends in this community who will regret to hear of the death of Mrs. Bassett.
