Death of Fred Payne, 60, former resident of Blair, Tekamah and Omaha, at his home in Los Angeles last Thursday was mentioned in Saturday’s Omaha papers. Services were held at Burket’s chapel in Omaha at 2 p.m. Monday, with burial in an Omaha cemetery. Surviving are a brother, J.M. Payne and two sisters, Mrs. J. Higgins and Mrs. Anna Robinson of Omaha, and another sister, Mrs. H. B. Leisge of Los Angeles.
