WORLD WAR VETERAN PASSES
Henry O. Johnson, a World War veteran, passed away Saturday, March 10, in the Veteran’s hospital in Lincoln, the victim of a complication of diseases contracted while in the service of his country.
Deceased was born in Sioux City, Iowa August 1st, 1887, and was married to Miss Pearl Hovendick in 1923, the ceremony being performed in Omaha where they resided for two years after their marriage. Later they moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where they made their home for a number of years, and where he held the position of assistant manager of the Western Auto Supply Co.
The services were in charge of the Stanley E. Hain Post, American Legion, of which the deceased was a member.
