CHAS. CARLSON DIES IN SOUTH
Charles Carlson, 62, a former resident of Blair, died Saturday at his home in St. Joseph, Missouri, after a prolonged illness from cancer, according to word received in Blair. Funeral services were held at St. Joseph Tuesday, and burial was at that place.
For a period of 10 or 12 years Mr. Carlson and his family lived in Blair, moving to Missouri about six years ago. While here he worked as a yardman for the Rivett Lumber company.
Among the survivors are two sisters, Eva and Mary Anderson and one brother, Ed Anderson, who live northwest of Blair and a brother, Andrew, of Bristol, Neb. Mr. Carlson was the father of three children, one son and two daughters.
