MRS. SARAH J. MACE RITE IN MISSOURI

Funeral services were held at Eureka, Missouri on Tuesday, December 5, for Mrs. Sarah Jane Mace, mother of John Mace of Blair. Mrs. Mace, who had made her home in Blair with her son for a period of fifteen years until last May, was aged 80 years, 8 months and 17 days at the time of her death which took place at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred McClanahan of Urbana, Missouri on December 3.

Sarah Jane Keasling was born March 16, 1859 at Midway,Tennessee; she was united in marriage to Laban Mace on November 16, 1876, and to that union five children were born, three of whom survive: John Mace of Blair, Mrs. Fannie Porter of Tekamah and Mrs. Sadie McClanahan of Urbana, Missouri; she is also survived by four brothers, six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Mrs. Mace was affiliated with the Methodist church.
