The funeral and burial of Mrs. R. A. Thomas at Pender last Tuesday recalled her residence here many years ago. She, as Miss Ella Beyers, was cashier of the old Plateau Bank for several years. Her husband, Mr. Thomas, was depot agent here at that time. Surviving are the husband, one son and two daughters.
