The youngest child of H.M. and Callesta Hitchcock, died of measles on last Monday night. A number of cases of mumps and measles are reported about town.

Note: The Vig Files at the Danish American Archives list the mothers name spelled Calista and the children: Horitio, Gideon, Rocelia, Elsie, Carmen, Fritz Thomas and Mary. No burial records were located.
