ROGERT RITES SUNDAY
66 YEAR OLD BLAIR BUSINESS MAN DIED FRIDAY AT HOSPITAL HERE
IN BUSINESS 11 YEARS
Funeral services were held Sunday for 66-year-old Herman Rogert, Blair, who died Friday at Memorial Community Hospital with the Rev. H.C. Jorgensen officiating. Interment followed in Blair Cemetery.
Mr. Rogert suffered a heart attack and was taken to the hospital, Sunday, January 12th.
He was born in Omaha and moved to Herman with his mother at the age of three years, and eleven years ago moved to Blair where he operated the Rogert Oil Co. together with his son, Emmett Rogert.
He is survived by his wife, Emma; two sons, Emmett of Blair and Arnold, Herman; three daughters, Mrs. Louis McGargill (Ada), Shenandoah, Iowa, Mrs. Donald Potter (Harriet), Hawaii, and Phyllis Rogert, Omaha; twelve grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. C.K. Andersen, Omaha; one brother, Fred Rogert, Lynwood, California.
Pallbearers were : Alton, Norman and Darlow Rogert, Sherman and Bernard Gosker and John Christopher.
Mr. Rogert was an active member in the Chamber of Commerce and in the Odd Fellows Lodge.
The Bendorf Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
