EX-COUNTIAN DIES; 90-YEAR-OLD BLAIR MOTHER IS AMONG SURVIVORS
August G. Pedersen, 59-year-old Fremont barber and former Washington Countian, died Tuesday afternoon at a Fremont hospital. He had been ill a month.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Fremont Congregational Church, and there will be Masonic rites at the graveside in Fremont Memorial Park Cemetery.
Born in Denmark August 14, 1890, he came to America with his parents as a baby first to Omaha, then to a Washington county farm. He attended school in and near Kennard.
Surviving Mr. Pedersen are his wife, Anne; his mother, Mrs. Marie Pedersen, 90, of Blair; six brothers, Gus of Lincoln, Jack of Chicago, Chris of Benson, Leonard E. of Kennard, Oscar and Ted Pedersen of Blair; and a sister, Mrs. Camilla Biggerstaff of Newcastle, Nebr.
