CHRIS VOSS BURIED SUNDAY

Chris Voss was born May 10, 1848 in Tramers Dorf, Holstein, Germany, and passed away July 9, 1937 at the home of his nephew, Charles Voss, at the age of 81 years, 1 month, 28 days.

He was baptized and confirmed in Germany and was a charter member of the Schleswig Holstein Verein. He had made his home where he passed away for the past thirty years, so was well known in this neighborhood and will be greatly missed by all.

He leaves to mourn his passing one sister-in-law, Mrs. Maggie Voss and a number of nieces and nephews and also many friends.

His six nephews who acted as pallbearers were Otto, Ben, William, Louis and Charles Voss of Blair and Ferdinand Voss of Winside, Nebraska. Funeral services were held at the Charles Voss home Sunday, July 11 at 2 pm. Interment was made in the German cemetery.
