PROMINENT CALHOUN CITIZEN DIED WEDNESDAY
John Trisler, aged 69 years, of Fort Calhoun, died just before noon on Wednesday of this week. He had been in poor health for some time.
Born in Calhoun, most of his life had been spent in his native town where he was well and favorably known. He had been honored by his townsmen as mayor several times, and many years as police judge, which office he held at his death.
Mr. Trisler is survived by his wife and one sister, Mrs. Grace Wagner of Crete, Nebraska, who are grief stricken at their great loss.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. from the Calhoun Presbyterian church, and interment will be made in the Calhoun cemetery.
