MRS. ARTHUR BROSS BURIED SUNDAY

Alice Idelia Arnold Bross was born at Irish Grove, Menard County, Illinois February 15, 1870, and passed away at her home in Blair, after a prolonged illness, on February 8, 1945 at the age of 74 years, 11 months and 23 days.

Deceased was the mother of five children - two daughters and three sons. The daughters are Mrs. Bert Gibbons and Mrs. D. C. Landis, both of Kearney, Nebraska; and the sons, A. F. Brown, Sacramento, California; George A. Brown of Napa, California; and Glenn Bosteder of Des Moines, Iowa.

She was converted and baptized by Elder T A. Lindemeyer at Eddyville, Dawson County, Nebraska January 28 1900, and untied with the Christian church at that place and remained a true and faithful member to the time of her death.

Mrs. Bross leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Arthur Bross of Blair, her five children, fourteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; also one brother, Arthur Arnold of Blair; one sister, Mrs. Fannie Griffith of Los Angeles, California; many more relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held February 11th at 2 p.m. from the Bendorf Funeral Home with Rev. T. A. Lindenmeyer officiating, and interment was made in the Blair cemetery.

FUNERAL RITES BY PASTOR WHO CONVERTED HER 45 YEARS AGO

A prolonged illness culminated in death for Mrs. Arthur Bross of Blair, Thursday. She was nearly 75 years old.

As Alice Idella Arnold, she was born in Irish Grove, Illinois on February 15, 1870. In January, 1900, she joined the Christian church of Eddyville, Nebraska, whose pastor at that time was the Rev. T.A. Lindenmeyer (later minister of the Blair Christian church).

She leaves her husband and five children—Mrs. Bert Gibbons and Mrs. D.C. Landis of Kearney, A.F. Brown of Sacramento, California, George A. Brown of Napa, California, and Glenn Bosteder of Des Moines, Iowa.

Also let to mourn her passing are a sister, Mrs. Fanny Griffith of Los Angeles; a brother, Arthur Arnold of Blair; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for the Blair woman took place Sunday afternoon at the Christian church, with the Rev. Lindenmeyer officiating. Burial was in the Blair cemetery.
