GEORGE B. RIKER DIED AUGUST 7TH

George B. Riker, former real estate and insurance man of Blair, died August 7, 1944 in Denver, Colorado. Funeral rites were held August 11, and interment was made in the Crown Hill Cemetery in Denver.

Deceased was at one time associated with S. W. Chambers in the real estate and insurance business, succeeding Charles McMennemy, long since deceased.

At his death, Mr. Riker was 79 years old, and had been a resident of Denver for the past twenty five years.

He was born in New York state. He was a member of the Railway Telegraphers’ Society and the Masons.

Surviving are a granddaughter, Nettie Riker of San Bernardino, Calif., and a niece, Bess Goltry of Russell, Iowa.
