FORMER BLAIRITE DIES IN WYOMING

The following clipping from a Casper, Wyoming paper will no doubt be of much interest to Washington County residents as the deceased was reared here. At one time he was employed at the Arndt Hardware, and at another time with the Farnberg hardware, and was also in the employ of the J. E. Lutz Monument Works.

Andrew Petersen, 60, a resident of Casper for the past 25 years, died while en route to Memorial Hospital after suffering from a heart attack while visiting the downtown district August 1.

After being stricken he was rushed to the hospital by the Gay ambulance, but expired on the way.

The deceased was born in Kennard, Nebraska December 7th, 1883. He came to Casper in 1917, and was employed at the Standard refinery since that time. He made his home at 1237 South Oak Street.

His wife, Edith, preceded him in death January 26, 1936.

He is survived by two sons, Pfc. George A. Petersen, Fort Sill, Oklahoma and Seaman 3-c Marshall A. Petersen, United States Navy; two daughters, Maxine Petersen of the family home and Mrs. W. F. Evans, Gillette. Two grandchildren also survive.

He was a member of the Modern Woodman Lodge.

Funeral arrangements are being made by the Gay mortuary, and will be announced when word has been received from the two sons in the armed services.
