COFFMAN RESIDENT 58 YEARS DIES
William Peterson, who had resided in the Coffman neighborhood near Fort Calhoun for 58 years, died at his home there late last week. Rev. Wiert Eekhoff, Presbyterian pastor, conducted the funeral services Tuesday afternoon at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church. Three neighbors who had resided near Mr. Peterson for many years, Mark Slader, Misses Daisy and Birdie Slader, sang at the funeral services.
Born in New York on October 13, 1872, Mr. Peterson had moved to the Fort Calhoun vicinity in 1875. He lived alone, and had been in poor health for some time. He is survived by one brother, Albert Peterson, also three nephews and two nieces.
