LEGION IN CHARGE OF LAST RITES
Funeral services for Clyde O. Wilkinson of Arlington were held Thursday afternoon at the Arlington Congregational church under the auspices of the American Legion. Rev. Harold J. Larimer officiated in the presence of a host of friends who had come to pay their last tributes.
Mrs. Howard Marshall and Mrs. Leonard Wulf, accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Alice Newcom, sang “No Night There” and “Lead Me Gently Home”.
Pallbearers were Dr. L. M. Peterson, Harold Weber, Vernon Marshall, Raymond Ludwig and Homer Miller.
Legionnaires, bearing the American flag and the Post flag, formed a guard of honor. “Taps” was sounded at the cemetery.
A number of out of town relatives attended the services.
