Mrs. William Brandert, a pioneer resident of this community, died at her home in Winslow early Saturday morning following a lingering illness. The family made its home on a farm north of here for many years. Twelve years ago Mr. and Mrs. Brandert retired from the farm and moved to Winslow. A few weeks after Mrs. Brandert was stricken with paralysis and was helpless until death relieved her from her suffering. She leaves to mourn her nine children. Henry Brandert of Admah; Mrs. Henry Katt of Admah; William and Edward Brandert and Mrs. Otto Miller of Grant, Nebr.; Mrs. Herman Bartling of Admah; Louis and August Brandert of Hooper; and Arthur Brandert of Winslow. Funeral services were held from the family home at Winslow at 12:30, and the local Lutheran church at 2 o’clock on Tuesday, Rev. F. C. Schuldt and Rev. Ralph W. Livers of Hooper officiating. Interment in the local Lutheran cemetery.
