Mrs. J. M. Brewster received a message Saturday evening telling of the death of her father, S. M. Deets, at 2:30 that afternoon at the home of his son at Cheyenne, Wyoming. Mr. and Mrs. Deets have made their home here with their daughter for the past several years, and left only a few weeks ago. The deceased was past seventy eight and has been in failing health for some time due to his declining years. A son, Ross, lives at Blair.
