#1-7 July, 1921 - The Enterprise - William T. Epperly

The funeral of Wm. T. Epperly was held Sunday morning, July 3rd, at his home in north Blair, Rev. Underwood officiating. The deceased was born in Indiana June 30, 1847, and passed away July 1st just 74 years and one day old. He leaves his wife and two sons, George and Earnest to mourn his demise.

W. T. EPPERLY IS CALLED TO HIS FINAL REST

W. T. Epperly, well known in Blair, passed away at his home in this city on Friday, July 1, after a long illness.

Deceased came to Washington county in 1887, and has made his home in the county ever since, having resided for many years on a farm near Kennard. During the early years of his life he followed his chosen calling, that of farming, until failing health made it necessary for him to give up this work. For a number of years he has lived in Blair, bravely facing the trials, and enjoying the blessing of life. The day before his death - June 30, 1921 - he reached the 74th mile post in life’s journey.

The funeral was held Sunday from his late home, conducted by Rev. W. H. Underwood, and burial was made in the Blair cemetery.
