MRS. C. M. CHRISTENSEN RITES MONDAY
Mrs. C. M. Christensen, who had for a number of years been a patient sufferer, passed away Friday, August 28, at the Methodist Hospital in Omaha.
Deceased was born November 19, 1874 at Oro, Denmark where she resided through her early life and where she was baptized and confirmed.
In 1893 she came to Blair, and on June 30 1896 she was married to C. M. Christensen. They moved to Butler County where they established a home, living there for ten years. After this they moved back to Blair where they have since made their home.
Not having any children, they adopted a daughter and later a son, and these, Mrs. Niels Sorensen of Blair and Clarence E. of Glendale, California, with the husband, survive as do also three grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Hans M.Jensen and Mrs. Jens C. Jensen, both of Herman, and mourn deeply their great loss.
The funeral rites were held at the First Lutheran church in Blair Monday afternoon, and interment was made in the Blair cemetery.
