WM. KNUDSEN, 52, DIES IN OMAHA
William Knudsen, 52, former resident of the Nickerson vicinity, died in Omaha Friday as the result of a heart attack. Funeral services were held at Bader’s Funeral home in Fremont Monday afternoon with Rev. M. C. Hagedorn officiating; commitment was in the Ridge cemetery near Fremont.
Mr. Knudsen was born in Fremont on August 21, 1890, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rasmus Knudsen, both of whom are deceased. After residing on a farm near Fremont, he moved to Nickerson in 1924. Later Mr. Knudsen worked with a farm machinery company in Omaha, and at the time of his death was a designer and laborer for the Duplex Manufacturing Co.
Survivors include brothers, Chris and Pete, Nickerson; and sisters, Mrs. John Harms of Nickerson, Mrs. Fred Harms of Fremont, Route 1, and Mrs. Fred Hansen of Fergus Falls, Minnesota.
