MRS. JOHN KEEGAN BURIED SATURDAY
Funeral services for Mrs. John Keegan, Fort Calhoun resident who died early last Thursday morning of pneumonia, were held Saturday, March 8, at St. Peter’s Catholic church in Omaha. Burial was made in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Mrs. Keegan, as Irene McMillan, was born in Blair on August 26, 1907 to Mr. and Mrs. W. W. McMillan. She had spent most of her life in Fort Calhoun where on March 8, 1928 she was married to John Keegan.
Survivors include the husband, two sons, Leo and Bernard; three sisters, Miss Jessie McMillan and Mrs. Jane Suverkrubbe of Fort Calhoun and Mrs. Dorothy Haas of Omaha; a brother, Neil, and her pioneer grandfather, J. D. Vaughan, both of Fort Calhoun; also three aunts, Mrs. Fred Dickmeyer, Mrs. Charles Robertson and Miss Agnes McMillan of Blair.
