WES SUTHERLAND DIES EARLY TODAY

John Wesley Sutherland died suddenly this Thursday morning of a heart attack. He was born September 23, 1872 in Indiana and the family moved to this county in 1982.
After gaining his maturity, he went to Craig where after his marriage to Miss Mae Davison June 29, 1902, he made his home for thirty years when he moved to Blair. Three children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Sutherland, Mrs. Roy Davis of Craig, Nebraska; Victor of Omaha and Mrs. Lee Gregerson of Atlantic, Iowa. Six grandchildren also with the wife and children and the brothers and sisters mourn his parting.
Of the brothers and sisters, Mrs. Belle Lamp of Blair; Will of San Antonio, Texas; Marion of California; Newt and Abe of Blair are still living.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Campbell Mortuary with Rev. Sidney L. McCaig of the Methodist church officiating, and interment will be made in the Blair cemetery. |
