WILLIAM NAPP DIES AT ARLINGTON HOME

William Napp, who has lived in Arlington for the past thirty years, died at his home there Friday after a lingering illness which had kept him confined to his bed for a number of months.

Born in Holstein, Germany, Mr. Napp came to the United States when a lad of twelve years, the family locating at Davenport, Iowa. Twenty six years ago he was married to Mrs. Dora Frahm, and most of that time had been employed in the railroad yards and in the pumping station in Arlington until several years ago when he was forced to give up work on account of failing health.

Besides his wife he is survived by four stepchildren: William Frahm, living at home; Mrs. Alma Roberts and Mrs. Augusta Odom, both of Omaha; and Mrs. Caroline Schill of Spooner, Wisconsin; and twelve grandchildren. One brother, John Napp of West Concord, Minnesota, also survives.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at three o’clock from the Arlington Congregational church, and interment was made in the Arlington cemetery.
