MRS. ANNA D. WIESE DIED MON.

Mrs. Anna Schumacher Wiese died Monday, February 12th at her farm home south of Kennard. At her death she was 77 years old. She was born at Rensburg, Germany February 3, 1863, and came to this county when ten years of age with her parents.

She was married to Henry Theodore Wiese in 1879, and immediately they moved to a farm four miles south of Kennard where they have since resided, and to Mrs. Wiese six sons and six daughters were born, all of whom are living, and all but one were at her bedside at her death.

The husband died in 1909 and the deceased shouldered the burden and reared her family, being both father and mother to them, and her devotion to them will always stand out in their memories of her.

Mrs. Wiese was interested in the happenings of the community in which she lived, and of her church. She was an active member of the Ladies Aid of the Lutheran church in Bennington where she will be greatly missed.

Funeral services are being held this Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock from the Lutheran church in Bennington, and interment will be made in the German cemetery.
