E. C. SCHNEIDER

Ernest Christian Schneider of the southern part of this county died Saturday, January 20, 1940 at the age of 74 years, 7 months and one day. He received his early education in the district school and on October 30, 1895 was married to Emma Gottsch who died in November of 1925.

To this union six children were born, five of whom survive, Peter Schneider, Blair; Mrs. Sarah Benck, Blair; Henry Schneider, Omaha; Mrs. Ralph Kuenning and Mrs. Eva Scott, Lincoln.

Besides these, three brothers and three sisters also survive: Ed, Claus and Fred Schneider and Mrs. Julie Paulsen, Mrs. Emaline Gottsh and Mrs. Marie Timme.

Funeral services were held at the home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock with Rev. Ralph P. Rasmussen officiating.
