JAMES SKINKLE, FORMER SCHOOL HEAD, IS DEAD

Former superintendent Blair Schools. In Chadron For 22 Years

James Skinkle, who for the past twenty two years has served as superintendent of the Chadron schools, passed away on Friday, July 19th. He had been in failing health for over a year.

Before going to Chadron he served for three years as superintendent of the Blair schools. He was a brother-in-law of C. J. Schmidt of Blair and has a number of acquaintances here.

He leaves the wife and two daughters, one living in Kansas City, Mo. and the other graduated from the Nebraska University last spring and still at home.

Funeral rites and interment were held at Davenport, Nebraska, the old hometown of Mrs. Skinkle.
