MRS. FRED ABBOTT BURIED TUESDAY

Mrs. Fred Abbott, nee Miss Bertha Pierce, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Pierce, died last Saturday morning at Marquette, Kansas, where they had resided for several years.

Mrs. Abbott was born and educated in Blair. To Mr. and Mrs. Abbott were born two sons, Frederick, now in the service located at San Francisco, and Norman of Ellsworth, Kansas. Besides the bereaved husband and two sons, she leaves two sisters, Mrs. W. W. Wilkinson of Blair and Mrs. W. S. Rotary of Omaha.

Funeral services were held in Marquette last Tuesday. Clyde M. Allen of Blair, a brother-in-law, and Mrs. W. S. Rotary were in attendance at the ceremonies.
