#1-15 Jan., 1908 - The Pilot - Emily (Wilkes) Antrim
Mrs. Antrim died at the Blair Hospital at 9:30 Sunday morning, and the funeral was held at the house at 8:30 Monday morning, Rev. Axtell officiating. The body was taken to Randolph, Ia., the old family home, for interment. Deceased was 55 years of age and had been in poor health for many years. Besides her husband, she leaves six children, Walter of Denver, Charles, Mrs. J. B. Williams, Mrs. Eugene Perry, Bessie and Harry of this city.
#2-16 Jan, 1908 - The Blair Democrat - Mrs. A. Antrim
Mrs. A. Antrim died at the hospital in this city last Saturday morning, and on Tuesday the remains were shipped to Randolph, Iowa for burial.
Deceased was born in New York state May 19, 1852, and was married to A. Antrim at Randolph, Iowa in 1875, coming to Blair with her husband and family in 1904. She as the mother of six children, three boys and three girls who besides the husband are left to mourn her death.
Short funeral services were held at the family home on South street Tuesday morning before the remains were shipped to Iowa, Rev. Axtell officiating. The remains were accompanied to Iowa by the husband, Bessie and Charley Antrim and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Williams.
A son, Walt, was here from Denver to attend the funeral and a son-in-law Gene Parry came up from Kansas.
The family have the sympathy of the entire community in the loss of a good, kind and loving mother.
