Hans Peter Peterson died at the Blair hospital last Sunday morning after suffering for some time with kidney trouble. He made his home with his nephew, Jens C. Peterson, out near Orum, being an old bachelor and about 69 years old. Deceased was born in Denmark and came to America about thirty years ago. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon from the home of his sister-in-law, Mrs. M. Peterson, Rev. Henderson, pastor of the Danish church at Orum officiating, and interment made in the cemetery at Orum.

Note: The correct spelling of the last name seems to be Petersen.
