Carl Mengedoht, a well known farmer of Fontanelle, died in Fremont on Thursday of last week after a surgical operation. He was 41 years old and leaves a family in good circumstances. Rev. Paul Beigler preached the funeral sermon at Fontanelle last Saturday.
