SOREN M. NIELSEN RITES THURSDAY

Mr. Soren M. Nielsen, a long time resident of the Blair community, passed away in Dodge County Hospital on July 9, after a short illness. He had been a resident at Good Samaritan Home in Fremont for several years. A native of Denmark, Mr. Nielsen was engaged in farming here for many years, lived for some time on East Park Street where his wife passed away about seven years ago.

He is survived by five sons, Pete Nielsen of Fremont, Axel and Alfred of Blair, Carl Nielsen of Eugene, Oregon, and Gifford Nielsen of Fort Calhoun; and two daughters, Mrs. Lester Hansen (Emma) of Blair and Mrs. Ivan Hovendick (Ella) of Herman.

The burial services will be held on Thursday afternoon, July 12, at 2 o’clock, with interment in Blair Cemetery.
