MRS. CLAUS WULF, 86, DIED TUESDAY
Mrs. Dorothee Wulf was born in Germany, and came to America in 1878, settling in this county. On November 21, 1879 she was married to Claus Wulf, the ceremony being performed in the Brown Creek church.
Following their marriage they took up farming and continued farming until 1910 when they retired and moved to Blair. After the death of her husband, she continued to live in the home and here she died on Tuesday at 1 o’clock a.m.
Five children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Wulf, three sons and two daughters. George of Arlington, William and Hans of Blair and Mrs. Emma Stork of Blair and Mrs. Harry Larsen of Kennard.
Besides these children, there are nineteen grandchildren and forty one great grandchildren who will miss her kindly greeting and her tender love.
Mrs. Wulf was a woman of sterling qualities. Her friends were numbered by her wide acquaintanceship. Always of a pleasant, genial disposition, she was loved by all.
Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at 2 o;clock at the Methodist church with Rev. Dickerson pronouncing the funeral oration, and interment will be made in the Blair cemetery under the supervision of the Campbell Mortuary.

Mrs. Wulf Rites Today
Mrs. Claus Wulf, 86, was longtime resident of Washington County
Funeral services will be held at 2pm this (Thursday) afternoon for Mrs. Claus Wulf, 86, who died at her home in Blair early Tuesday morning. She had been ill for some time.
Services will be held at First Methodist Church with the Rev. Homer L. Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow in Blair Cemetery, with Campbell Mortuary in charge.
Mrs. Wulf was born in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, March 30, 1864, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Godker. At the age of 14 she came to this country.
In November of 1879 she was married to Claus Wulf at the Brown Creek Church. The couple farmed near Orum until 1910, when they moved to Blair.
Mr. Wulf died in 1937 after the couple had been married over 57 years.
Mrs. Wulf is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Harry Larsen of Kennard and Mrs. Gottlieb Stork of Orum; three sons, George of Arlington and Hans and Will of Blair; 19 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
