ORA EDITH LOFTIS SUCCUMBS ILLNESS

Ora Edith Loftis, daughter of Mary and Caleb Loftis, was born Oct. 2, 1891 near Herman, and passed away at the Blair hospital Oct. 10, 1949 at the age of 58 years and 8 days. She was united in marriage to Louis Larsen on Feb. 7, 1912 and two children were born to this union.

She was baptized at the Alder Grove church when a young girl. She had been bedfast for the past eight years, but was always so cheerful and never complained.

She is survived by her husband and two daughters. Mrs. Orville Axtell (Irene) of Blair and Mrs. Ivan Honeycutt of Pavillion, Wyoming, six grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Nancy McConnaha of Blair, Ms. M. E. Anthony of Craig and Miss Olive Loftis of Omaha; two brothers, John of Tekamah and Bert of Craig and several nieces and nephews.
