OBITUARY FOR MRS. JENS P. HANSEN

Sine Hansen was born on April 18, 1873 at Ektvig Sogn, Kolding, Denmark. She died at Clarkson Hospital at Omaha on Saturday evening, June 11, 1949, at the age of 76 years, and after a long illness, including hospitalization of the past two months.

Mrs. Hansen came to Blair, Nebraska with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Soren Madsen-Osterlund, on November 9, 1888, and lived in this community for the rest of her life. She was married on February 28, 1900 to Jens P. Hansen of Washington, Nebraska, where she lived the rest of her life. To this union were born three children: James R. Hansen of Bremerton, Washington; Anna M. Huber of Blair, Nebraska; and Ellen Hansen who died in infancy. She is survived by one granddaughter, Eileen Hansen of Bremerton, Washington. Four brothers and three sisters and her parents preceded her in death. The following are the pallbearers: Bertel Betelsen, Charles Shumaker, Nels Knudsen, John A. Johnson and Nels Marinus Nelsen, all of Washington and Jorgen Christensen of Fremont.

Bendorf Funeral Home was in charge of the interment.
