WM. BOLLN RITES TUESDAY

Wm. Bolln was born on July 10, 1886 near Omaha, Neb. and passed away in the Veteran’s Hospital in Lincoln on May 1, 1949. He was reared in the vicinity of Omaha and Blair, and during the First World War served in the armed forces of his country, being stationed at Ft. Leavenworth and in Indiana. After his discharge, he farmed on the Bottom north of Blair until about 1935 when he turned to carpenter work, at which he was engaged until about ten months ago when he went to the hospital in Lincoln. For about four years he lived with his sister, Mrs. Peter J. Nielsen on South Street.

Mr. Bolln is survived by one sister, Mrs. Peter J. Nielsen, two brothers, John Bolln of Blair and Herman Bolln of Pender, and by a number of nephews and nieces.

The funeral service was held at the Campbell Mortuary on May 3, Tuesday, Rev. H. C. Jorgensen officiating, and burial was made in Blair Cemetery.

Wm. Bolln Dead at 62

FORMER BLAIR FARMER, VETERAN OF WORLD WAR I, DIED IN LINCOLN MAY 1

Long ill, William Bolln of Blair, a former farmer and World War I veteran, died Sunday at the Veterans Hospital in Lincoln. He was 62.

The body was returned to Blair, and funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Campbell Mortuary. The Rev. H.C. Jorgensen of First Lutheran Church was in charge, and interment followed in Blair Cemetery. The veterans’ firing squad officiated.

Mr. Bolln was born July 10, 1886 near Omaha, and was raised in the Omaha and Blair vicinities. He was a soldier during World War I, being stationed at Fort Leavenworth and in Indiana. After his discharge, he farmed on the bottom north of Blair until 1935, when he turned to carpenter work, at which he was engaged until about ten months ago. He had lived with his sister, Mrs. Peter J. Nelson, on West South Street the past four years.

Surviving Mr. Bolln are his sister Mrs. Nelson; two brothers, John Bolln of Blair and Herman Bolln of Pender, and a number of nephews and nieces
