11 Mar., 1909 - Blair Democrat - “Spide” Turner
The news reached Blair Tuesday morning that “Spide” Turner, formerly an engineer on the M. & O., but later employed on the Missouri Pacific, had been killed in a wreck that morning, and that the remains would be shipped to Blair for interment. Turner was a former resident of Blair, his father owning a large tract of land just south of Blair in the early days.
