Fredlick; parents, Mabel and Harry Swanson; and brother, Don Swanson, Sr. Survived by children: Pam Berkel (Steve), David Fredlick (Joan Brazas) and Mark Fredlick; grandchildren: Nathan Berkel, Jordan Berkel and Emelia Fredlick; and siblings: Howard Swanson (Marilyn), Clara Connelly and Lorraine Juul.

Private Family Interment. Memorials are suggested to the Josie Harper Hospice House.

Elaine M. (Swanson) Fredlick

February 4, 1935 – September 24, 2020 In addition to raising three children, she worked for St. James Lutheran Church in Bettendorf and later Farris Engineering in Omaha. After retirement, she dedicated herself to her volunteer work at a local hospice care center, where she was the lead volunteer for more than two decades.

She was preceded in death by husband, Richard; her parents, Harry and Mabel; and brother, Don Swanson. Survived by sons, David (Joan) and Mark; daughter, Pamela (Steve Berkel); grandchildren: Nathan Berkel, Jordan Berkel, and Emelia Fredlick.

There will be a private family interment in immediate future and celebration of life to be planned later. Donations in Elaine’s memory may be made to Josie Harper Hospice House.
