#1-7 Oct., 1901 - The Pilot - Ada Shirley
Mrs. Ada Shirley, whose serious illness was reported in Thursday’s Pilot, died Thursday evening at 7:30. The funeral services were held at the home in Omaha Sunday at 10:00 a.m. and the body was brought to Blair for burial on the afternoon train. Mrs. Shirley leaves a husband and three small children. She was conscious to the last and realized the hopelessness of her condition, and made all the arrangements for her funeral.

Mrs. Ada Shirley died last Thursday evening at 7:30 at her home in Omaha. The funeral was held at 10 o’clock Sunday morning, and the remains brought here for burial on the afternoon train. She leaves a husband and three children.
