16 Mar., 1903 - The Pilot - Herman Laaker
The remains of Herman Laaker were brought to Arlington Monday from Hastings, Neb., and were interred in the Lutheran cemetery the same day. The deceased died in the hospital connected with the Hastings asylum on Saturday of last week after an illness of long duration. He was sent to the Norfolk asylum about four years ago from this county, and when that institution was burned, he was removed to Hastings. He was a brick maker by trade and worked in the yards at this place until his mind gave way. He leaves a wife and several children.
