Mildred M. Jenkins, 92, of Blair, died Wednesday, June 17, 2009, in Omaha.

Her body has been cremated under the direction of Rupp Funeral Home in St. Joseph, Mo., and her cremains will be interred at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Whittier, Calif.

Mildred Marie Stanislaus was born June 3, 1917, in Venita, Okla., to Lawrence and Ruby Stanislaus.

She had formerly lived in Union Star, Mo.

She worked in the grocery business as a clerk.

She was a Christian.

She is survived by her brothers, Melvin Stanislaus of Omaha, and J.L. Stanislaus of Springfield, Mo.; sisters, Shirley McDowell of Blair; Fayetta Smith of Louisiana; and Mary Graham of Maryville, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Jenkins; a daughter, Marci Henley; brothers, Gary, Harold and Marvin Stanislaus; sisters, Grace Hayward, Frankie Stanislaus, Helen Atkins and Lucille McDowell.
