A one-time Arlington man, Horace (Hoby) Jenks, was buried at the Bear Butte Cemetery in Sturgis, South Dakota last week.

Mr. Jenks wsas 96 years of age. Mr. Jenks was born in Arlington and moved to the South Dakota area.

Mr. Jenks' colorful past included working as a cowboy on many of the large ranches, participating in numerous buffalo hunts and fighting forest fires in Deadwood Gulch in the heart of the Black Hills.
