3 Nov., 1909 - The Pilot - Hannah Hansen
M. P. Hansen and family of Cuming City township, mourn the death of their eldest daughter, Hannah, which occurred Friday morning after a lingering illness. Hannah was a member of the Danish Lutheran congregation in Dexterville, and was a good Christian girl and a dutiful daughter. The church was filled with relatives and friends and the floral contributions were many, one beautiful piece being from the Danish Young Peoples Society of which Hannah was a faithful member. The funeral services were in charge of Rev. Anderson of the Danish Publishing House and Rev. Hansen of Omaha. Rev. K. Anker of Iowa spoke in the Danish language and Rev. P. S. Vig of Dana College rendered a tribute in the English tongue. The choir was composed of Misses Emma Anderson, Minnie Jensen, Messers. Silas Anderson and C. S. Swanson with Miss Lydia Nelsen as organist. The pallbearers were members of the Young Peoples Society. Many friends sympathize with the Hansen family in their bereavement.
