After an illness lasting from the 3rd of last February, Miss Sarah Moore died yesterday afternoon of Bright’s disease. The funeral is to be held at the residence of her father, J. A. Moore, Sr. at 3 o’clock tomorrow, Rev. G. A. Smith officiating. Sarah was born near Davenport, Ia. Oct. 26th, 1861 and would therefore have been 48 years of age had she lived until the 26th.

After an illness lasting upwards of a year, and much of the time being confined to the house, Miss Sarah Moore died last Tuesday of Bright’s disease. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon. Sarah Moore lived a conscientious, Christian life, the influence of which in the community and the family will never cease to be felt. The sympathy of the community goes out to the bereaved family.
