Miss Ida McCready was operated upon for appendicitis at the Blair hospital last Wednesday afternoon by Drs. Murdoch, Langstaff and Stewart and seemed to recover nicely from the operation and up to Friday noon was feeling fine. A weakness of the heart developed and she failed rapidly, death occurring early Saturday morning. The funeral was held at the home of her aunt, Mrs. Gusta Lange at 4 o’clock Sunday afternoon, Rev. Jesse B. Burkhardt officiating. She was the youngest daughter of Mrs. Samuel Brown, and was not quite 18 years of age. She was a good, hard working girl and her sudden death was a great blow to her mother and many friends.
