The funeral of Mrs Sophia Goedecker was held from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gus Mencke at eleven o’clock today. Mrs. Goedecker was born in Germany in May, 1823, and came to Washington county in 1876. For the past twenty six years she has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Gus Mencke. She is survived by four children.
