Funeral services were held today (Monday) for Walter Allen, 63 years of age, who died Friday of a heart attack.

The services were held at Campbell Mortuary with interment in Blair Cemetery.

Mr. Allen is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Norma Jean Nelson of Sioux City, sister, Mrs. Gertrude Merritt of Elkhorn; brothers, John, Pat and Rollo Allen, all of Blair.

Mr. Allen was born September 24, 1898 south of Blair. He was a painter.

Pallbearers were nephews Keith, Lynn, Chauncey, Gerald and Mark Allen and Delbert Merritt.
