Mrs. N.C. Christiansen, Sr. died last night at the hospital in Omaha, where she was taken in the morning for an operation for rupture. Mrs. Christiansen severely ruptured herself Monday by lifting a tub of water and after local talent had failed to give relief, she was taken to Omaha with the above result. Deceased had been a resident of this city for a number of years, and leaves a husband and six children, all grown, to mourn her loss.

The death of Mrs. Nels Christensen occurred last evening at five o’clock at St. Joseph’s hospital, Omaha, where she was taken yesterday morning for treatment for a rupture, from which she has suffered much pain for some time. Deceased was well and favorably known in the city, and leaves a husband and several children to mourn the loss of a loving wife and mother.
